• Tuesday 26 – Wine & Art Showcase, 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. Twelve Down East artists invite the public to  the fourth annual wine and art showcase.  The evening of fine art, wine, and heavy hor d’oeurves will be held this year at the Oriental Women’s Club on Gilgo Street in Oriental.  Pianists will perform while artists show their latest works of paintings, jewelry, photography, sculpting and enameling.  Proceeds from the event will support Art on the Neuse, an annual outdoor art event held in Oriental in June. Tickets are limited and are on sale for $22 now at Croakertown in Oriental or at the door the night of the event.  For more information, contact Marlene Miller at 252- 249-2827.

Vote for your favorite recipe and send the winner home with a cash prize. Enjoy the music of the Harbor Sounds, and buy dessert or a pint (or more!) of your favorite chowder. Proceeds benefit Pamlico County charities including the Florence / Whortonsville VFD, Hospice, Pamlico Rescue Squad, Project Graduation, SE Pamlico VFD, and more.Tickets are available at Croakertown.
